Babies Everywhere!

Today we visited our dear friends Anna and Peter and their beautiful newborn baby girl Elsie. She was in a big hurry to get here and arrived 5 and a half weeks early. She is doing really well and should be going home very soon. We were lucky enough to see her today in the special care nursery and I took these photos.

Molly was very disappointed that she couldn't see baby Elsie for herself.
It's so hard to explain these things to a 3 year old!

Stay posted for more baby photos as our friends and old neighbours Frances and Paul became parents for the 4th time this week with the arrival of Jenson. He is in special care too but hopefully he and Frances will be home over the weekend. Can't wait to meet him!

The Big Storm

We had a huge thunderstorm here this afternoon. Even while it was pouring with rain, the sun was still shining. The light was amazing. As always Molly and Max loved the rain.

Then the storm passed and the puddle jumping began.

Monika and Kaete were out enjoying the puddles too.

Max takes his puddles very seriously.

He had some puddle jumping coaching from Daddy.

Then did his very best to keep up with the girls.

The older girls gave Molly a few tips on how to pose for photos.

A Day in the Park

Yesterday we spent the afternoon at Centennial Park and took Molly's bike with us. She must have done at least 6 laps of the large children's circuit which is quite a feat for a 3 year old who has only recently become confident on her bike. Another milestone was that she happily rode off to parts of the circuit where we were completely out of her sight. Our little girl is growing up and becoming terribly independent. I'm not really ready for that!

Max enjoyed the opportunity to explore and kept us on our toes. Unlike Molly he is always happy to wander away from us so we have to keep an eye or four on him at all times in the great outdoors. As you can see in the photos he found some yummy dirt and took a shine to my glasses.

We can't wait to go back again. Anyone wanna come along?

Poor Max has a nasty cold and has been feeling pretty miserable.

He still managed this cheeky grin right before he made a grab for the camera.

Our Evening Constitutional

We have been taking advantage of the lovely mild evenings in Sydney lately and going for a walk after dinner.

Max is always eager to get out of the pram and walk.
He particularly enjoys chasing Molly.

A Visit to Goob's Place

On Sunday a bunch of the EB Junies and kids got together at Leonie's now huge house for a playdate. Here are a few snaps of the kids at play.
