The Big Park

There is a wonderful park in Miranda in Sydney which has a huge bike track, all kinds of play equipment and a fantastic sandpit with a water play area. While Molly was busy riding her bike and having a turn on the flying fox, Max spent his time in the sandpit and on the swings.

It was a great afternoon!

We have been making the most of the lovely afternoons lately and getting out into the neighbourhood. Molly just loves to play with the big girls Monika and Kaete.

Week 3 Challenge - Movement

The challenge was to capture movement with the camera by taking it out of Auto mode and playing around with the shutter speed. Hundreds of photos later this is the best I could come up with. Both were straight out of the camera.

This week I have to play around with ISO. Now where did I put that camera manual???

Resting Up

Molly has been unwell with a nasty cold and cough. Now she has shared it with me!
We have spent the day mostly resting up in an effort to recover.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my birthday and my mum and sister brought over a cake for me. Max slept through the whole thing so it was up to Molly to help blow out the candles.

What a glorious day we had in Sydney today.

We took advantage of the weather by going for a morning ride on the Big Red Bike

After lunch and a sleep for Max we headed to the park where Molly rode her bike and Max ran around enjoying the ridiculously long grass.

Molly is a bit sick with a cold and wasn't exactly bursting with energy.

It was a great day to be out in the sunshine.
