The Day We Saw Dorothy

Last weekend we went to the Parents Childrens and Babies Expo so Molly could see Dorothy the Dinosaur.
Here is the big girl in all her glory.

Molly was a little overwhelmed and was just warming up as Dorothy sang her last song.

Afterwards we enjoyed the great playground and fountain at Homebush Bay.

A great day of fun, free entertainment.

Out and About with M&M

As M&M get older the pram becomes a less enjoyable way to get around our little suburb. Sitting back and taking in the scenery is losing its appeal. Here is the latest attempt to keep everyone amused while walking to the shop.

So far, so good.

Why We Love Maccas

One of our favourite family outings these days is to head to Maccas for lunch or just an afternoon coffee. The reason is not the food or the coffee but the playground. M&M have a ball there and always strike up friendships with other kids. Max has now really started to explore the space and he likes what he finds.

Rides and Tantrums

Max has taken quite a fancy to shopping centre rides. Unlike his big sister he is never content when the ride comes to an end and it is time to say goodbye. It is then that he shows us just how determined he is. I look to the future with a degree of trepidation!

2nd Haircut

Despite being almost 3 Molly had her 2nd ever hair cut just recently. It took a little encouragement to get her in the chair, or rather Mummy's lap (note the little pink dog) but she impressed everyone with her ability to sit still.

Tough Day

Sometimes playing all day can really take it out of you.
This was one of those moments when things go very quiet and you need to investigate.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAX

Sorry for the month long hiatus everyone! Now prepare for a blogging onslaught as I share a months worth of photos and memories with you all.

Max's first birthday was on 11th May. Almost a month later I am still having trouble accepting that my baby boy is ONE!

We spent the morning at a playcentre where we met up with Kris and her gorgeous girls. Eliza took her first steps while we were there! Molly and Sophie got to spend some quality time together giving the slide a good workout and Max had a ball exploring the place. Here are a few photos.

Our gorgeous boy!

A very happy boy

After a big day we headed home where Max finally got to try out his main present, a new car! It was all a bit too much in the end. Rest assured he really does love his car and even makes the broooom brooom noises to go along with it.

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!

Playing Together

Molly and Max have reached a delightful stage in their relationship where they really play together. They have so much fun and Molly really looks out for Max.

The Battle of the Car Enthusiasts

We had a lovely afternoon at Melissa's baby shower on Sunday. Max took an instant liking to Zach's car.

"Whoa! Check it out!"

What's she got under here? Noice!!"

"Back off Jasper!"

"I saw it first!"

"Hey! Hey!"

"Tears won't work on me!"

"In the driver's seat now. Out of my way!"

"Now for the serious business of driving."
