As M&M get older the pram becomes a less enjoyable way to get around our little suburb. Sitting back and taking in the scenery is losing its appeal. Here is the latest attempt to keep everyone amused while walking to the shop.
One of our favourite family outings these days is to head to Maccas for lunch or just an afternoon coffee. The reason is not the food or the coffee but the playground. M&M have a ball there and always strike up friendships with other kids. Max has now really started to explore the space and he likes what he finds.
Max has taken quite a fancy to shopping centre rides. Unlike his big sister he is never content when the ride comes to an end and it is time to say goodbye. It is then that he shows us just how determined he is. I look to the future with a degree of trepidation!
Despite being almost 3 Molly had her 2nd ever hair cut just recently. It took a little encouragement to get her in the chair, or rather Mummy's lap (note the little pink dog) but she impressed everyone with her ability to sit still.
Sorry for the month long hiatus everyone! Now prepare for a blogging onslaught as I share a months worth of photos and memories with you all.
Max's first birthday was on 11th May. Almost a month later I am still having trouble accepting that my baby boy is ONE!
We spent the morning at a playcentre where we met up with Kris and her gorgeous girls. Eliza took her first steps while we were there! Molly and Sophie got to spend some quality time together giving the slide a good workout and Max had a ball exploring the place. Here are a few photos.

A very happy boy
After a big day we headed home where Max finally got to try out his main present, a new car! It was all a bit too much in the end. Rest assured he really does love his car and even makes the broooom brooom noises to go along with it.
Molly and Max have reached a delightful stage in their relationship where they really play together. They have so much fun and Molly really looks out for Max.
Welcome to the Walkerden's blog. This is the place where Lyn, Dave and their two beautiful children Molly and Max (M&M) will share some special and everyday moments with you.
