New Friends and Trampolines

We are just home from a lovely holiday in Forster. We stayed in a great place called Forster Gardens with fantastic facilities for the kids including this trampoline. Molly made new friends everyday on the trampoline including this little girl Riley who is 4. Seems it's a very small world because I know Riley's mum through work and they live in the next suburb to us. Riley has a little sister Kirby who is 2 and Molly loved playing with her as well.

Sleeping Beauties

Don't you just love to watch them sleep

Here's Max in his sleeping bag. He was sleeping really well in it for a week or so but then started waking up every hour so we are back to wrapping him nice and tight and he's back to sleeping through.

This is how we found Molly today after she protested that she wasn't tired at all. Out cold with the book she was reading stll in her hands. Priceless!

Sydney to The Gong

On Sunday I took M&M to Wollongong to watch their Daddy cross the finish line of the Sydney to Wollongong bicycle ride. It was a grueling ride in dreadful weather conditions.

"Where are you Daddy?"

There he is!

After 93km in the rain and riding into a 30km/h headwind he can still manage a smile!

Molly's 'cyber twin' Amy was there to see her daddy finish as well.

The girls had a great time playing together in spite of the wind and rain.

Congratulations Daddy! We are all very proud of you!

Motor Show Madness

What were we thinking??
Turns out taking a 2 year old to the Sydney Motor Show is NOT a good idea.
We did manage to have some fun though as you can see in these pictures.

Daddy and Max checked out a family size car

Molly and Max traded places in the pram.

I think Max likes being in the driver's seat.

Max was taking in all the fun decorations

and gave them a big thumbs up.

There was still time for playing with the toys. Thomas the Tank engine is a new favourite.

Superman (AKA Bailey) made an appearance

There was party food including cakes with VERY blue icing

Play Date in the Park

Today Max had a playdate with Alice and Izzy. We went to a beautiful park in Summer Hill with an enclosed playground. While the mums and bubs relaxed in the shade of a tree, Molly ran herself ragged in the playground and made lots of new friends.

Max made a few moves on Alice.

"Heeeeey! How do you like my women?" says Max.

The babies had a tummy time conference. I wonder what they were plotting?
